I was touched to receive the "Blogging with a Purpose" award this morning from Nicole over at
Art and Aioli, I've become a regular over in virtual california, where Nicole cooks up a storm in her kitchen - I'm still green eyed over that Pizza stone Nicole! Nicole interjects her colourful kitchen journal with pieces of art that inspire her, my favorite is

An amazing blog which I stumbled upon and have enjoyed reading immensely. A fellow Joanna Newsom fan, Serena is a talented writer and jewellery maker and her fantastic poetry prose posts are brilliant! I also enjoy answering her very interesting "scruple" which she updates regularly on her blog!

Lisa, I am so deeply honoured that you like my blog! Usually it's just my friends who read it. so thank you so much. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I see you deleted your comment. Does that mean you take it back? That's o.k. if you do. See, I have to hunt down 5 blogs to send the honour off too, and I'm very particular. I have 3, but I must find 2 more. I so enjoy your homeland.

you are so sweet to nominate the ten on ten blog, I am sorry it took me awhile to get over here and thank you my life took kind of a slow and introspective turn and I admit to not blogging in over a week. I love your blog and your participation on the ten on ten project, very inspiring! I will have to try to think of five more blogs to nominate. Is there a time frame for it? Thanks so very much Lisa!!
